Brianna's been driving Heidi daily, and her only comment is that it seems to be idling rough. Otherwise she feels it's running as well as it ever has. Last night I was going to tweak carb settings in hopes of smoothing things out, but we didn't get home until rather late. Brianna's supposed to be home for dinner tonight, so I'll do my tweaking this evening.
With Ariel back at school without a car, Ringo's been sitting at the curb for the last week. Today I drove him in to work. He didn't want to stay running when cold. Other than that, it was an uneventful commute. Looks like I also need to tweak his carburetor settings.
Having driven or riden in all three of our early models within 12 hours of each other, I can comment on it how different each of the cars is from each other. Ringo is the loosest feeling - somewhat twitchy on the highway. Seat-of-the pants says he weighs the least of the three. His steering requires only the lightest touch. While Heidi feels the tightest (firm, solid), she's not the quietest given the open feeling only a convertible provides (even with the top up). Lucy is the most responsive thanks to the upgraded suspension and firmer shocks, but she's also the one where you feel all the road imperfections. The wider tires of Lucy make her the one voted least loved for parallel parking.
