Chevrolet’s impending release of the Volt has prompted a lot of discussion on the Corvair forums about electrifying our favorite automobile. GM has been developing electric vehicles for many years. In fact, they created Electrovair I in 1964 and Electrovair II, the subject of today’s CPotD, in 1966. There’s a great writeup on this unique car at Gary Aube’s Corvaircorsa website.
